A Breakdown of the 10-Day Croatia & Slovenia Itinerary…
DAY 1
Today you’ll explore some of Ljubljana’s most famous sights, including Prešeren Square, Ljubljana Castle, Riverside Market, and the iconic bridges gracefully connecting the riverfront promenade through town.
DAY 2
The second day will take you to Lake Bled for breathtaking views of the lake and alpine mountains, as well as Bled Castle, a Pletna boat ride, and back to Ljubljana for an afternoon waking tour of the old town.
DAY 3
Today you’ll venture off to Zagreb to explore the historic and vibrant capital city of Croatia, where you will see Jelačić Square, St. Mark’s Church, Museum of Naive Art, and the lively Tkalčićeva Street, lined with cafes.
DAY 4
The fourth day will begin with a stroll along the Green Horseshoe before visiting the city market, and the beautiful Mirogoj Cemetary. Late afternoon takes you on a peaceful drive through the Croatian countryside.
DAY 5
Today you’ll explore the spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park weaving through cascading waterfalls along the boardwalks, then drive to Šibenik for a relaxing evening and seaside dinner on the Adriatic.
DAY 6
The sixth day begins at Krka National Park followed by lunch and wine tasting at BIBICh Winery, before traveling to Split where you’ll discover ancient Roman ruins, walk up Marjan Hill, and stroll the fabulous Riva .
DAY 7
Begin the day in Diocletian’s Palace and climb the iconic bell tower for stunning views over Split, followed by visits to the Green Market and Ivan Meštrović Gallery. Evening delights with an unforgettable dinner in Split.
DAY 8
The eighth day takes you south along the Adriatic coast where you will see Opuzen’s farm stands, Terra Madre Winery, Pelješac Peninsula, and breathtaking views over at every turn, before arriving in Dubrovnik..
DAY 9
Begin the day walking the famed walls of Dubrovnik before taking a ferry to lush and peaceful Lokrum Island, then enjoy exploring Fort Lovrijenac before dining in the picturesque old town along cobbled streets.
DAY 10
Today will begin with a morning walk through Dubrovnik, enjoying your final day in Croatia and reflecting on the incredible people and sights of this remarkable, breathtaking, and inviting country
